How long does it take to set up my account?

We'll set up your account within 4 business hours of receiving your payment. You'll get an email with all relevant information for your account when setup is complete. If, for any reason, you do not receive this email in a timely fashion, please don't be afraid to contact us!. Please be sure you add support@taproothosting.com to your "approved" list so our email doesn't get queued as Spam.

Can I use my own domain name or can you get me one?

Yes! We can help you transfer it over if you already have a domain, or we can register a new one for you.

If you register the domain for me, do I own it?

Yes you do! We'll be your "Technical Contact" but you'll be both the Registrant and the Administrative Contact for your domain. We'll never hold your domain hostage. The only reason we'll ever refuse to unlock a domain for transfer is if we've not been reimbursed for its registration cost.

Do you censor content?

We believe in free speech, art, and value individual opinions. As long as the site does not contain any illegal material it is yours to express yourself with.

Will you help me move my site?

Yes, and we will not charge you a thing to do it. Some sites are complicated to move and we do not expect everyone to be an expert in the technology involved.

Do you have a contract for hosting?

No, you can quit at anytime for any reason and we will do our best to help you find a suitable host. We can't please everyone, but we'll do our best!
